CVEG Students Present Research at SPTC Summer Symposium

University of Arkansas Students Maggie Langston, Christine Lozano, Magdalena Asborno, and Taslima Akter recently attended and presented research results at the Southern Plains Transportation Center (SPTC) Summer Symposium hosted by the University of Oklahoma.  Lozano, a current masters student, presented on fatigue mitigation strategies for large waterway lock gates.  Asborno and Akter, both PhD students, presented on a new multi-criteria framework transportation model for transload facility planning and the effects of weather events on freight truck traffic volumes.
